From the date of creation of the Universe, deep spiritual Truth was revealed to men and women of great wisdom at their deep and cosmic level of meditation. This revelation has been preserved orally for a long time in the name of Vedas. Only 5000 years before the common era, it has been committed to writing by Sri Krishna Dwaipayana Vyasa and made several classifications for simplification of practice. Over several millennia, most of the Vedic Knowledge has been lost due to several reasons. Parama Poorna Prakasha Pratishtana is putting effort to preserve the available Vedic Text and to recover the lost or whichever is available partially.

Since the revelation of Cosmic Truth in the form of Vedic Mantras to Rishis, The Jnana (Vedic Knowledge) has been preserved by oral and Karmic practices and teaching the same to their progeny and disciples. There were 1131 Vedic Shakhas, of which only few has been left (available in script or in practice). As in this age, it has been very difficult to preserve such a large collection in the human memory, still the efforts are carried out to regain the lost scripts or practice. Few preserved shakhas needs to be brought in to social practice. In the same direction, thousands of Rishis and Acharyas have contributed, during later times. Among them Sri Shankaracharya, Sri Ramanujacharya and Sri Madhvacharya have given ample and clear direction to implement the Values of Shastras in Hindu Society, for all times.

Acharya Sri Srinivasa Swamiji, who is the chief Acharya of Para Vidya Gurukula, has come in the same linage with more than two decades of Vedic Shastra Adhyayana (Study) from Kashi (Banaras), Rishikesh and from Sringeri. At ParaVidya Gurukulam, even today we are imparting shastras, to our students, in the orthodox tradition( Kashi Vidvat Sampradayam), which is most ancient living traditional teaching practice in India. more...
